1. Platform Overview

Homeless Founders is a matching platform that connects founders seeking accommodation with hacker house hosts. We facilitate introductions only and do not provide accommodation services directly.

2. Age Requirements & Parental Consent

18+ Years: Users 18 and older may use the platform independently.

13-17 Years (Minors): Minors may only use this platform with explicit parental/guardian consent and supervision. Requirements include:

  • Written parental consent form must be submitted
  • Parent/guardian must approve all accommodation arrangements
  • Parent/guardian contact information must be provided to hosts
  • All communications must include parental oversight

Under 13: Not permitted to use this platform under any circumstances.

3. Platform Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

NO LIABILITY: Homeless Founders and its operators accept NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY for:

  • Safety, security, or well-being of users
  • Quality, safety, or legality of accommodations
  • Actions, behavior, or conduct of hosts or guests
  • Financial transactions between users
  • Property damage, theft, or personal injury
  • Disputes between hosts and guests
  • Compliance with local laws and regulations

4. User Responsibilities

All Users Must:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Conduct their own due diligence on potential matches
  • Verify identity and credentials independently
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
  • Obtain necessary permits, licenses, or approvals
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage

5. Safety & Due Diligence

USERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Background checks and identity verification
  • Meeting potential hosts/guests in safe, public locations first
  • Informing trusted contacts of their whereabouts
  • Ensuring accommodations meet safety standards
  • Verifying legal compliance of arrangements
  • Personal safety and security measures

6. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Use the platform for illegal activities
  • Misrepresent identity, age, or intentions
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Violate local housing, zoning, or business laws
  • Use the platform for commercial accommodation business without proper licensing

7. Platform Limitations

We Do NOT:

  • Verify user identities or backgrounds
  • Inspect or approve accommodations
  • Mediate disputes between users
  • Provide customer support for arrangements
  • Monitor ongoing communications or arrangements
  • Guarantee successful matches or outcomes

8. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Homeless Founders, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from their use of the platform or arrangements made through it.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TO BE DETERMINED]. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
